How We Got Here
APIAtlas was born from frustration. Our founders worked at large technology companies where managing APIs had become a Sisyphean task.
The Problem
With thousands of microservices across dozens of teams, nobody had a single source of truth for APIs. Documentation was outdated. Duplicate endpoints proliferated. Deprecated APIs continued to be called. When one team tried to consolidate APIs, they discovered three other teams had built nearly identical solutions.
The Insight
The breakthrough came when they realized: you don't need to instrument code or force adoption of tools. APIs already leave a digital footprint through network traffic. By passively observing that traffic and applying AI classification, you can discover and catalog everything automatically.
The Solution
